Meet Alyse: trusted sales tutor, storyteller, muse, change agent and whole human.

How I see it:
"Good selling is an art. It's a mix of awareness, skill and human interaction. Done well, it's natural and intentional, passionate and focused. Spreading the word about things you care about while profiting and making a difference in the lives of others is as good as it gets." (Like this point of view? To get started today, click here.)

History:
Alyse was the youngest female Vice President of Advertising at Faulkner & Gray and later Thomson International Publishing. After weathering buy-outs and start-ups, she stepped down and moved cross-country from NYC to work for Miller Freeman as their Western District manager. She was a million-dollar-plus producer and cultivated a "girls club" of loyal customers, by "selling it like a woman", not a man.

Education: She attended Ohio University and Fashion Institute of Technology and dropped out to work. Her real education has been 20+ years of sales experience, insatiable curiosity and lifelong study of communication, relationships and sales as an art. Hard knocks and life experience makes her the real deal. In her spare time, she is community activist, leader, and mentor. Alumni associations, colleges, and vocational centers alike invite her to talk about change and sales.

Nowadays: With a thriving consultancy assisting entrepreneurs, small business owners and executive women, she inspires clients to utilize their superior gifts. She taught at Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC) and regularly speaks a at NAWBO and WEV (Women's Economic Ventures) and other professional associations. Her program is currently available in a workshop format in Los Angeles in a 2 hour version, 5 week format, or 30 minute booster calls, or one-to-one.

Her current passions are exotic teas, drumming, expressive movement, her husband and her Pug, Theo. She is on the advisory board at Leeza's Place, Leeza Gibbons' non-profit for caregivers. And she volunteers for Urban Possibilities, a non-profit that helps homeless and working poor men and women reframe their self image, and her local Neighborhood Watch and community organizing. As a dancer in a non-performance dance company, Medicine Dance, she has performed at Highways in Santa Monica, Ca.
